Ways to Get Involved

People seek volunteer opportunities for many reasons. Volunteering at BVAA can help you create a stronger bond with your friends, family, and coworkers or can provide professional development opportunities for college applications, internship requirements, or enhancing a resume.

One thing we know for sure? People expand their social networks, build closer relationships, and develop more meaningful connections when they volunteer.

Careful… you might just have a happier and more fulfilling life…

Here are some ways you can get involved...

Volunteer

Use your skills and experience to make an impact in your community. Our wide range of volunteer opportunities are sure to provide a fulfilling experience!

Become a Partner

Sponsors offer funding or products and services to support our events, programs, or capital improvements. In exchange, your business gets exposure, a chance to connect with new customers, and an opportunity to make an impact in your community.

Lead a Program

Our programs include forums, workshops, activities, and other learning opportunities for members of the community. Have an idea you want to bring to life? Work with staff to design a one-day or on-going program that will be successful and fulfilling!

Host a Fundraiser

Throw a party to support our organization! Third-party fundraising is hosted by a member of the community, a local business or corporation with proceeds to benefit BVAA. These fundraisers include everything from bake sales and lemonade stands to cocktail parties and golf tournaments.

Join a Committee

Share your professional skills and experience by working with staff and volunteers to plan strategic improvements to our programs. Similarly, if you’re still building your career, committees can be great for your professional development and can provide opportunities for you to learn valuable skills and work with professionals in your field.
